Rebuilding Elevation Connect
When I joined Elevation Capital, I inherited one of India's largest VC-founder conferences. The problem was that it wasn't built to scale. The operation was a highly manual process where a 10-person team spent months coordinating hundreds of meetings between our portfolio founders and global investors using static spreadsheets. I worked on the complete product overhaul to turn a manual service into a seamless, automated platform.
My Role

De facto Product Manager. My mandate wasn't to "run an event"—it was to build a scalable system. I drove the end-to-end product vision, transitioning a operational process into a clean, automated web product.

Cross-functional leader. I partnered directly with engineering and design teams, acting as the bridge between business requirements and technical execution. I translated complex stakeholder needs into clear technical specs, user flows, and sprint deliverables.

Systems architect. I designed the underlying matching logic and backend database structures required to handle complex "double opt-ins" across hundreds of high-profile users without breaking or creating friction.
Execution
We structured the rebuild around removing friction for our two distinct user personas: founders and investors.

Systems architect. I started by mapping out the entire user journey, directing our designers to transition users out of spreadsheets and into customized web portals. To do this, I had to understand the psychology of the "match"—figuring out exactly what data points both sides of the table needed to see to make a meeting decision, and ensuring the UX surfaced that information cleanly.

Building Logic Back-end. The hardest part was the backend routing and automation. I architected the matching logic for ~40 portfolio companies and 200+ global capital pools, designing an automated "double opt-in" system. I worked in lockstep with the tech team to replace manual email chains and manual Zoom link generation with a one-click workflow. Ultimately, this condensed a months-long, 10-person manual grind into an automated product that required only ~5 hours per week to manage, successfully enabling over 600 curated meetings and doubling overall attendance.
